Katie Holmes Whisks Suri Away on a Paris Getaway as She Turns 13. Was Tom Cruise Around?

Suri Cruise became a teenager on April 18 and as one does not turn 13 every other day, mom Katie Holmes, treated her daughter to a memorable birthday dinner at the exclusive Sant Ambroeus restaurant in New York, on Suri’s real birthday. Katie then swept the birthday girl and her two lucky friends to a trip to Paris. The next evening, the extended birthday party continued at Les Ombres’ rooftop restaurant. Arriving at about 8:00 in the evening, the dinner included non-alcoholic mojitos, caviar tasting, and selfies galore, with the landmark Eiffel Tower as the backdrop.

Casually dressed in a while top and black leggings, the actress nursed some white wine in a tall glass, while the teenaged girls — all wearing similar-looking floral party frocks — took off on many tours between the courses, to explore the beautiful rooftop terrace. The celebration had an appropriate dessert, a gooey and warm caramel fondant topped with a single birthday candle. Suri wasn’t the only one getting a gift. After the 90 minute meal, the party left a $100 tip for their waitress.

Just the previous week, Holmes and Suri enjoyed a low-key special dinner in New York City. The mom and daughter duo stepped out wearing coats with Suri’s friends. For her daughter’s twelfth birthday, Holmes shared a lovely birthday tribute on Instagram, to her daughter, who she shares custody over with ex-husband, actor Tom Cruise. In March, the two had visited the Moria refugee camp in Lesbos, Greece, with the organization Artolution and Holmes shared a black and white photo of Suri smiling, laughing and playing with a younger child, with the caption “Wonderful to spend time with such beautiful souls.”

But Suri’s father, Tom has been missing since a really long time with no news of how he celebrated her birthday. Katie and Tom are divorced and have both moved on since then. Holmes is said to be dating actor Jamie Foxx, and though they are often seen together, neither of them ever admit to being in any relationship.
