Vanessa Hudgens Opens Up About Her Early Midlife Crisis at 27

Many people do experience midlife crisis, but usually in their late 30s or early 40s, but not Vanessa Hudgens. The High School Musical star revealed to people that her experience was quite early – at 27, to be exact.

Nonetheless, the actress was able to power through her struggles about getting old at a young age, and now that she’s in her 30s, she acquired more confidence in how she carries herself today.

Hudgens recalls how her “midlife crisis” started one morning as soon as her 27-year-old self woke up. Her thoughts were all about the realization that she was no longer a kid or a teenager, but rather an adult with a lot of responsibilities. Her dilemma was that along with realizing her new status in life, she had no idea what she wanted to pursue.

Yet the actress is thankful for what she had to go through, because it was a period that helped her re-examine her passions in life and her priorities. Some do not grow out of their midlife crisis, but Hudgens is grateful that she was able to immediately come to terms with herself. At just 30 years old, she’s aware that she possesses the freedom to do what she wants and speak her mind.

Nevertheless, Hudgens pointed out that she may have transitioned to adulthood, but there are teenage problems that she did not leave her at all. What the gorgeous actress is referring to is her skin breaking out. The Rent: Live star found the perfect solution for skin problems, which is self-care. The long term solution starts with taking care of yourself first – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each person should give value to self-care, because it will lead to finding solutions to many problems hounding you. Taking care of yourself is the foundation of self-love, which leads to you eat food that you know is good for your body and giving your skin the pampering it needs to stay healthy.
